If you follow me on social media (as you should 😉) you must know I went to the kitchen and bath show in Las Vegas just a couple of weeks ago. Attending industry trade shows is one of my favorite ways to stay ahead of the latest trends. I’m always excited to bring back fresh inspiration, and this year’s KBIS was packed with innovations you’ll love!
If you remember a previous blog post I wrote about trends, this is one of the opportunities to tap into that.

Wellness and Customization
Bathrooms today offer so much more than just function- they're spaces to relax, recharge, and renew. Saunas, steam showers, soak bathtubs, and massage showerheads turn everyday routines into spa-like experiences. Brands are expanding customization with more sizes and colors, allowing your designer to create a truly personalized retreat.
Wellness also plays a part in material choices, and lighting design. Natural materials, and earth tones, such as green, blue, gray and brown, will dominate 2025. For those of you who are loyal to the color white, fear not- it’s not going anywhere!
Â
Kitchen customization is at an all-time high. Cabinet design and appliances now cater to multiple cooks, offer kids-friendly features and even built-in pet stations. The oversized island gives the way to double islands for more functionality; there’s more multipurpose appliances, workstation sinks, closed pantries (bye-bye open shelves!), and concealed elements.
Earth tones are also the top kitchen color trends for 2025- green, blue and brown. Classic White and gray haven’t gone away completely.
Technology and Automation vs. Simplicity
The kitchen and bath industry continues to innovate with smart home integration, automation, and high-tech appliances—everything from smart showers to AI-powered kitchen appliances. However, an interesting shift is emerging: many homeowners are opting for simpler operating systems, favoring intuitive controls over complex automation. The good news? There’s something for everyone! Whether you prefer a fully connected home or just a few smart conveniences—like a sleek wireless surface charger—you can customize your space to match your lifestyle.

Mention-worthy finds from KBIS25:
Zip Water- now you can get tap water, drinking water, boiling (truly boiling) water and sodium-free sparkling water- all from one faucet! With various styles and color options, you can have your designer match it to your kitchen, or wet bar design.
Effe sauna - A free-standing sauna which can practically be placed in any spot, given there’s adequate space for it, so there’s no need for special preparations!
Modern Matter offer beautiful and unique pulls and handles for cabinets, drawers and furniture.
Zero silica or low silica countertops! This is an industry game-changer, offering a safer production process while maintaining the same durability and style.

Final thoughts:
I’m thrilled to see the growing awareness and need for wellness in the home, among designers and homeowners alike!
Designers have more customization options than ever before, giving us almost endless possibilities to tailor our designs to our clients’ needs and give them the true sanctuary they deserve. You deserve it all.

From wellness-focused bathrooms to highly customized kitchens, KBIS25 showed that personalization and comfort are the future of home design!
